Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: S
Wind Stength: 12
Surf / Sea State: slight
Air Temperature: 18
Sea Temperature: 15
Weather: Sunny
Max Speed: 21.8 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 15.5 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Another breezy day in Felixstowe but by the time I arrived at the dip at 4 the wind was easing a little so I rigged 9.4 on the carve. This was spot on most of the time,I started beating to the old windsurfing hut(approx 4 miles) then had a full on very broad reach back to the Martello tower at East Lane(5 miles) playing on some great rolling surf on the way!!! Then about half way back to the dip something gave in the boom and I noticed the front of my boom had snapped !!! Luckily I could change tack to the good side of the boom and made it slowly back to the shingle bar by FFSC.Here I tried the boom together with rope and because the tide was very low I could walk along the shingle bar to the river mouth where I could sail back.So thats more expense on a new boom to add to the mast I had to buy the other week!!!
Then Mag came and met me on the beach on her bike and we had fish and chips-a great way to end a great week !!!!
